October 1, 2020:

Sign "O" The Times was Sold exclusively as a 7" Vinyl covermount with the October 2020 issue of Rolling Stone magazine in Germany, available on September 24, 2020, to promote the Sign O’ The Times Super Deluxe Edition. The a-side featured the remastered single edit, found on the "Promo Mixes & B-Sides" disc of the collection, while the b-side, Witness 4 The Prosecution (Version 1), was sourced from the "Vault Tracks part 1" disc.

Two cover photos were issued using images by Jeff Katz from the original period. Featuring new artwork and a different b-side from the 1987 single release of Sign O’ The Times, this is not regarded as a re-release or variant of that single.
