Candy Dulfer: Sax on Fire
Candy Dulfer, the Dutch funk‑jazz saxophonist, became one of Prince’s most electrifying collaborators. Her sharp, soulful tone powered tours, aftershows, and studio sessions from the late ’80s onward. Known for her breakout with “Lily Was Here” and her fearless stage presence, she brought a fiery, melodic edge that fit seamlessly into the NPG’s high‑octane sound.
