Glam Slam (Night Club)
lam Slam was Prince’s own nightclub concept, a vibrant celebration of music, fashion, and nightlife. The first location opened in Minneapolis in 1990, followed by a high-profile South Beach, Miami outpost in 1994 (1233 Washington Ave.), and a Tokyo, Japan location. Known for its glamorous, purple-infused aesthetic, live performances by Prince and The New Power Generation, and wild after-parties, Glam Slam became a cultural landmark embodying Prince’s vision of a creative, inclusive party space.
