Timeless is a brand-new 10-track compilation featuring rare and unreleased studio recordings from Princes legendary vault. First announced on June 4, 2006.
This unprecedented album encompasses tracks spanning every phase of Princes illustrious career, from 1977 to 2016. The project has been meticulously mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer and producer Chris
James, a former Prince engineer whose notable credits include HITnRUN Phase Two, Art Official Age, and Plectrumelectrum. Timeless is now available on stunning purple marble vinyl, black vinyl and CD providing profound insights into Princes creative process and musical evolution.
Seems like the perfect title for an album by a man who lived outside the bounds of time itself.
Prince wasn’t interested in counting the days or hours. Why would he? He created his own calendar, one measured in sound, creativity and freedom.
His music never belonged neatly to one genre, one era or one category. Funk. Rock. Soul. Pop. R&B. Jazz. Electronic. Something entirely his own.
Prince didn’t follow the times. He made music that outlived them.
And now, the vault opens again.
TIMELESS released on August 28th, 2026 featuring 10 previously unreleased vault tracks, the first album of previously unreleased Prince music since 2021’s Welcome 2 America.
