THE NEWS
What initially appeared to be an early retailer leak has now developed into an official Prince release.
The Prince Official Store has opened pre-orders for 3121 Expanded Edition, confirming considerably more detail than was available when Tower Records Ireland prematurely listed a release simply called 3121 (Deluxe).
The principal configurations are:
3121 Expanded Edition – 3LP + Blu-ray
3121 Expanded Edition – 2CD + Blu-ray
The official description presents the release as an expansion beyond the original 3121 album, bringing together the familiar 12-track record with ten additional recordings.
The expanded presentation also incorporates a substantial visual element through a dedicated Blu-ray.
FROM RETAILER LEAK TO OFFICIAL RELEASE
The first indication that a larger 3121 project was approaching came when Tower Records Ireland listed an unannounced 3121 (Deluxe).
At that stage, the retailer showed:
Double CD + Blu-ray
Triple Vinyl + Blu-ray
but neither the contents of the Blu-ray nor the additional audio programme had been officially confirmed.
The new Prince Store listing now answers the major questions raised by that appearance.
The final title is:
3121 Expanded Edition
and the Blu-ray is indeed connected directly with the Las Vegas residency, while the audio component expands the original studio album with ten additional tracks.
3LP + BLU-RAY EDITION
The vinyl configuration is listed by the Prince Official Store at:
£61.00
SKU: 5QLPPR104
Expected Ship Date: December 11, 2026
The three LPs contain the complete original album across Sides A-D, followed by ten additional tracks spread across Sides E and F.
2CD + BLU-RAY EDITION
The CD configuration is listed at:
£23.00
SKU: 5QCDPR074
Expected Ship Date: December 11, 2026
CD 1 contains the original 3121 album.
CD 2 contains the ten additional recordings.
The same Blu-ray programme accompanies the CD edition.
THE ORIGINAL 3121 ALBUM
Originally released in 2006, 3121 contains twelve tracks:
3121
Lolita
Te Amo Corazón
Black Sweat
Incense And Candles
Love
Satisfied
Fury
The Word
Beautiful, Loved And Blessed
The Dance
Get On The Boat
The official announcement describes the album through its blend of funk, soul, rock and pop, highlighting songs including “Black Sweat,” “Te Amo Corazón,” “Fury” and “Beautiful, Loved And Blessed.”
THE EXPANDED MATERIAL
The most important audio addition is a second programme containing 10 tracks beyond the original album.
These are:
Time Of Ur Life
The Streets Of Panama
Another Girl
The Word (Acoustic)
Elixer
Glass Cutter
Love (Acoustic)
Ur’e Such A Tease
Te Amo Corazón (Acoustic)
Girls In The Band
The official description confirms that the additional programme includes previously unreleased material.
At present, the wording supplied does not specify individually which of the ten recordings are receiving their first official release, so the Chronicle should not assign unreleased status on a track-by-track basis until that information is formally clarified.
THE BLU-RAY
The most significant confirmation concerns the video component.
The Blu-ray contains a complete concert filmed during Prince’s Per4ming Live @ 3121 Las Vegas residency in January 2007.
This confirms that the Blu-ray is not simply a collection of contemporary promotional videos.
The disc also includes the official videos for:
Fury
Te Amo Corazón
Black Sweat
Taken together, the concert and promotional videos substantially broaden the retrospective scope of the Expanded Edition beyond the original studio album.
3121 LAS VEGAS LIVE
The concert programme comprises 21 performances:
3121
Girls & Boys
Satisfied
Down By The Riverside
Purple Rain
Lolita
Black Sweat
Kiss
Shhh
Musicology / Prince And The Band
Pass The Peas
I Never Loved A Man (The Way I Love You)
Love Changes
Somewhere Over The Rainbow / Nine Million Bicycles (Medley)
If I Was Your Girlfriend
Pink Cashmere
Cream
U Got The Look
Crazy
Get On The Boat
Play That Funky Music
The programme ranges across several periods of Prince’s catalogue while incorporating covers and material from 3121.
OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEOS
The Blu-ray additionally includes three promotional videos from the 3121 era:
Fury
Te Amo Corazón
Black Sweat
Their inclusion places the original album campaign alongside the later Las Vegas residency on the same visual disc.

RELEASE SIGNIFICANCE
The announcement resolves the uncertainty created by the earlier Tower Records listing.
What appeared simply as 3121 (Deluxe) is now officially presented through the Prince Store as 3121 Expanded Edition.
Most significantly, the release extends the original album in two directions.
The audio programme adds ten recordings beyond the original twelve-track album, including material officially described as previously unreleased.
The Blu-ray expands the picture further, combining the album’s original visual campaign with a complete filmed Las Vegas concert from the Per4ming Live @ 3121 period.
The result is therefore considerably more substantial than a straightforward anniversary reissue of the 2006 album.

CONTEXT AND NOTES
This announcement supersedes the uncertainty recorded in the earlier October 26 Chronicle concerning Tower Records Ireland’s premature 3121 (Deluxe) listing.
The retailer information had correctly indicated that both CD and vinyl configurations would be accompanied by a Blu-ray, but the exact contents were then unknown.
The Prince Store announcement now confirms the expanded audio programme and reveals the Blu-ray contents.
There may still be additional information to come concerning the wider retail release, mastering, detailed recording histories for the ten bonus tracks, technical Blu-ray specifications and which individual recordings are previously unreleased.
Those details should be added only when formally confirmed.
