THE STORY

Developed from the aborted Corporate World project, Pandemonium marked a return for The Time with more band involvement. It includes reworked Prince material and was promoted heavily during the Graffiti Bridge era.

CONTEXT & NOTES

The album reached #18 on the Billboard 200 and #9 on the R&B Chart. It was certified Gold in October 1990. Frictions in the band led to Jesse Johnson’s departure and the end of promotion in early 1991. A 2015 Japanese remastered reissue was released with no additional tracks.

A Japanese digitally remastered reissue was released (August 19, 2015).
