THE STORY Prince’s original 1985 recording of Nothing Compares 2 U was officially released in 2018 on the album Originals. This picture disc 7" single was made available starting April 22, 2018 via the official Prince store (often bundled with a matching T-shirt). A purple vinyl version appeared at Electric Fetus on April 21, 2018, followed by a black vinyl edition on May 25, 2018.
