THE STORY Recorded in 1983 at Prince’s Kiowa Trail home studio in Chanhassen, Minnesota, these intimate solo piano and vocal performances were released for the first time in 2018. The deluxe edition pairs the 180g audiophile vinyl LP with a CD and a 12-page booklet featuring handwritten lyrics, exclusive photos by Allen Beaulieu, and essays by Lisa Coleman, Jill Jones, and Don Batts.

CONTEXT & NOTES This release offers a deeply personal look at Prince’s early 1980s genius, featuring stripped-down versions of future classics alongside covers and unreleased material. It stands as one of the most vulnerable and revealing recordings in his vast catalog.
