THE STORY
“America” was released as the final single from Around The World In A Day in October 1985. The epic 21:46 A-side is one of the longest extended versions Prince ever officially released. The B-side “Girl” had previously appeared on the UK “Pop Life” single. The track’s extended jam format highlights the psychedelic and funk elements of the album era.
