THE STORY Released on February 5, 1986 as the lead single from the album Parade, “Kiss” marked a bold stylistic shift for Prince and The Revolution — a stripped-back, skeletal funk masterpiece built around handclaps, falsetto vocals, and a razor-sharp groove.
