THE STORY Things Left Unsaid is the second solo album by saxophonist Eric Leeds, best known for his work with Prince and the New Power Generation. Released on Paisley Park Records in 1993, the album delivers a sophisticated blend of jazz, funk, and atmospheric world textures, showcasing Leeds’ expressive saxophone and expansive compositional style.

CONTEXT & NOTES The track “Aguadilla” carries a co-writing credit to Prince, as it incorporates musical elements from his unreleased composition “Desire.” Most of the album was recorded at Paisley Park Studios, Skyline Studios, and Centerfield Recording. It reflects the exploratory, cosmopolitan side of the early-’90s Paisley Park aesthetic.
