THE STORY
Ten years after Prince’s passing, Musikexpress dedicated its March 2026 issue to the artist with this exclusive 7" single. Both tracks are taken from the 2015 album HitNRun Phase Two. “Baltimore” was originally released as a protest song in response to the 2015 events in Baltimore, Maryland.
CONTEXT & NOTES
This release was only available bundled with the Musikexpress magazine (03/26 issue). The cover features a striking portrait of Prince and a special illustrated insert/poster with the iconic afro and sunglasses design. It marks one of the later physical single reissues tied to Prince’s catalog in the 2020s.
