CONTEXT & NOTES
Released as a follow-up to Hitnrun Phase One, it was initially bundled on Tidal before wider digital and physical availability. Many tracks originated from sessions spanning 2010–2015. The album received a major retail push shortly after Prince’s death in April 2016, leading to renewed chart success. It is the final Prince studio album issued while he was alive.
