The video was recorded live on March 8 1986 during the Romance 1600 Tour. It captures high-energy performances including a standout extended “A Love Bizarre” with Prince. “S CAR Go” features a percussion jam with Sheila E.’s father Pete Escovedo and brothers.


CONTEXT & NOTES 

This was Sheila E.’s first official home video. The US release came on VHS and Betamax formats. The live version of “A Love Bizarre” includes additional chants and was edited slightly for the video. The footage was produced by Limelight and originally retailed for $29.98.
