THE STORY 

This vinyl edition presents the classic nine-track album with audio remastered at Paisley Park Studios in 2015 under Prince’s personal supervision, housed in packaging faithful to the original 1984 release ,including poster and lake insert, (that was changed after the first pressings in 1984, due to the fact that the text was not easily legible).

CONTEXT & NOTES 

The 2017 remastered LP brought the definitive Purple Rain sound to vinyl collectors, updating the iconic artwork while delivering improved audio fidelity from the original masters.
