THE STORY

Alongside the 6-track CD, Purple Music also released the remixes on 12" vinyl in both standard black and limited picture disc editions. These vinyl versions contained only four mixes (the two Dominatrix mixes were omitted). The picture disc featured the same futuristic artwork as the CD. Both formats were sold through the Purple Music online store.

CONTEXT & NOTES

These were the only vinyl releases ever issued for “Dance 4 Me”. They were aimed primarily at DJs and collectors. The picture disc is now a sought-after item among Prince vinyl collectors.
