CONTEXT & NOTES
Recorded primarily at Paisley Park Studios between late 1996 and early 1998. Although credited to the New Power Generation, Prince is the dominant creative force. The album was supported by the New Power Soul Tour and New Power Soul Festival Tour, which also promoted companion albums by Chaka Khan (Come 2 My House) and Graham Central Station (GCS 2000). It reached No. 22 on the Billboard 200.
