Liv Warfield (born May 10, 1982) is an American singer, songwriter, and performer from California. Known for her rich, gritty, and emotionally charged vocal style, she brought a bold, contemporary edge to Prince’s later live shows and recordings
PRINCE CONNECTION Prince discovered Liv in 2012 and quickly integrated her into the New Power Generation. She became one of his most frequently featured vocalists from 2012 until his passing in 2016. Prince produced and mentored her solo work, and she performed extensively with him during the Welcome 2 America era and the final tours. She was especially noted for her commanding stage presence and her ability to deliver high-energy, gospel-tinged performances.
