THE STORY
Released on 20 March 1995, Get Wild was the lead single from the album Exodus by The New Power Generation. An earlier version appeared on the Prêt-à-Porter soundtrack in 1994, but this maxi-single introduced the definitive album version alongside a full suite of club remixes.
CONTEXT & NOTES This release continued Prince O(+>’s mid-90s strategy of expansive remix packages. The Australian cassette edition (The Wild Experience) included two exclusive tracks. The single reached No. 19 on the UK Gallup Singles Chart.
