A full‑throttle NPG club assault — remixes, rarities, and mid‑’90s funk energy at its wildest.
Released commercially across the UK and Europe on 20 March 1995, Get Wild became the first single from Exodus, the second album credited to The New Power Generation. Although the track first appeared in a different form on the Prêt‑à‑Porter soundtrack in late 1994, the UK/EU commercial single introduced the definitive album version — titled Get Wild (Single Version) — identical to the Exodus mix but distinguished from the earlier soundtrack recording.
The maxi‑single expanded the release into a six‑track club suite, echoing the remix‑driven strategy of The Beautiful Experience. Across CD and 12" formats, the single delivered extended reworks including Money Maker, Kirky J’s Get Wild, Club Mix, In The House, and the Money Maker Funky Jazz Mix. The cassette edition, titled The Wild Experience, added two unique tracks: Beautiful Girl (an instrumental version of “The Most Beautiful Girl in the World” featuring Eric Leeds) and Hallucination Rain.
The single reached #19 on the UK Gallup Singles Chart, becoming one of the most successful NPG‑branded releases of the mid‑1990s.
