THE STORY
Riot In English is the first solo studio album by Dale Bozzio, former lead singer of Missing Persons. Released on Prince’s Paisley Park label in March 1988, the album includes “So Strong,” a track written, produced, and originally recorded by Prince, with Dale adding her vocals. It marks her only release on the label.
CONTEXT & NOTES
Prince also submitted “The Latest Fashion” and “2nd Thoughts” for the project, but they were not used. This album represents a brief but notable collaboration between Dale Bozzio and the Paisley Park camp.
