RELATED MATERIAL

Released four weeks before The Time’s debut album, “Get It Up” was the group’s first official release. It reached No. 6 on the Billboard Soul Chart but did not enter the Pop Chart. This single launched The Time as a project closely tied to Prince’s expanding Minneapolis Sound universe.
