THE STORY “Head” was released in 1980 as the ninth worldwide single by Prince. Issued commercially only in the Philippines as a 7" single (backed with “Uptown”), it also appeared as a one-sided 12" promo in the US. The track is known for its explicit lyrics about oral sex and seduction, making it one of Prince’s most infamous and controversial songs
