THE STORY
“Fury” was released as the third and final single from Prince’s 31st studio album 3121. It was the second single in Europe and the UK (where “Te Amo Corazón” was not released). The single included a live medley of “Te Amo Corazón” and “Fury” recorded at the 2006 BRIT Awards.
CONTEXT & NOTES
“Fury” marked the end of the 3121 campaign. The single featured a high-energy live medley from the BRIT Awards (which also included excerpts of “Let’s Go Crazy” and “Purple Rain”). Promotional releases included the album track “Love”. The song was first performed live on Saturday Night Live in February 2006.
