THE STORY
Interactive is a groundbreaking CD-ROM experience released by Prince in 1994. It features an immersive virtual environment shaped like Prince’s Love Symbol, where users navigate through different rooms (Foyer, Library, Dance Club, Boudoir, etc.) to solve puzzles and collect pieces of the symbol. The disc includes exclusive music clips, videos, animations, and interactive elements.
CONTEXT & NOTES
Released just before The Gold Experience, Interactive was one of the earliest major artist-driven multimedia CD-ROMs. It contains unique versions and clips of songs that later appeared on The Beautiful Experience, The Gold Experience, and Crystal Ball.
