THE STORY

“Days Of Wild” was released as a live single recorded on June 18, 2002 at the Centre Molson in Montreal during the One Nite Alone... Tour. Initially distributed as a one-track CD to attendees of the final Xenophobia Celebration show on June 27, 2002, it later became available as a three-track 12" single via mail-order and at shows.

This version of the song (often called the Montreal recording) differs from the earlier live take on the Crystal Ball album. The single also includes an excerpt of “1+1+1=3” from the tour (a track that later appeared on the One Nite Alone... Live! album).

CONTEXT & NOTES

This Canadian 12" pressing features distinctive collage-style artwork made from newspaper clippings. It marks one of the first singles officially credited to Prince & The New Power Generation since the early 1990s. Due to its limited release, it did not chart.
