Prince Back In Spotlight With 'Lovesexy' Tour
LOS ANGELES DAILY NEWS

last year, also called "Sign o' the Times" and now available on videocassette. The film is being grouped with the best concert films ever.
Hopes are high that Prince's "Lovesexy" Tour '88 will live up to the magic of those European dates. The tour, which started July 8 in Paris, features the singer and his band performing in the round on an elaborate tri-level stage with revolving and interchangeable sets.
The hydraulically controlled stage features a regulation basketball court, a huge heart-shaped candy bar and ascending and descending neon signs.
According to Warner Bros. Re-cords, the Paris kickoff was Prince's most retrospective performance in years. The set included new songs like "I Wish U Heaven" and "Anna Stesia," mixed with older Prince favorites like "Erotic City," "Sister" and "I Want to Be Your Lover."
