THE STORY Released on February 3, 2014 as the second advance single from Plectrumelectrum, “Pretzelbodylogic” introduced Prince & 3rdEyeGirl’s full rock sound to the world. Following the 2013 teaser “Fixurlifeup,” this track dropped during the high-energy HIT AND RUN UK club tour, where Prince, Donna Grantis, Ida Nielsen, and Hannah Ford Welton debuted new material in intimate, unannounced shows. A 29-second teaser had appeared on the 3rdEyeGirl YouTube channel a week earlier.

CONTEXT & NOTES “Pretzelbodylogic” captured the live-band ethos of the Plectrumelectrum sessions — heavy guitars, tight grooves, and raw analog immediacy.
