After making his name as a key member of The Time (featured in Prince’s Purple Rain), Jesse Johnson launched a successful solo career in the mid-1980s. This new set celebrates his distinctive funk-rock sound and includes hits such as “Be Your Man”, “Can You Help Me”, “Crazay” (with Sly Stone), and “Love Struck”.
