THE STORY

Hippy Blood was the second and final commercial single from Ingrid Chavez’s self-titled debut album. While the album version contains no Prince involvement, the single is significant for featuring multiple remixes by Prince, along with “Whispering Dandelions,” a track co-written, produced, and performed by Prince. The Japanese edition expands into a full EP with exclusive remixes of “Elephant Box,” another Prince co-write.
