THE STORY
Issued as a covermount with the August 2021 edition of Rolling Stone Germany, this 7" single promotes the Welcome 2 America album. The A-side is the studio version of Hot Summer, while the B-side features a live performance of “The Bird” recorded at The Forum in Los Angeles.

CONTEXT & NOTES
This was one of the early promotional singles for the Welcome 2 America project. The B-side is an edited live version from the 2011 concert (originally featured on the deluxe Blu-ray). The single was not commercially available separately and came only with the magazine.
