3×CD Box Set (2002 NPG Music Club)

(no barcode)

Three discs, nine cities, one unstoppable NPG — Prince’s first official live album and the definitive One Nite Alone era archive.

✦ Summary

Shipped to NPG Music Club members beginning November 24, 2002, One Nite Alone… Live! marked Prince’s first official live album and his first NPG‑credited release since 1992. The 3CD box set combined:

• Disc 1–2: One Nite Alone… Live! — the main show

• Disc 3: The Aftershow: It Ain’t Over! — the late‑night funk workouts

• Bonus: One Nite Alone… (solo piano & voice) — previously Club‑only

Recorded directly from Scottie Baldwin’s console mixes, the album documents nine shows across eight venues from March–April 2002. It features the first official release of the full‑length “Xenophobia”, distinct from the earlier promo sampler version.

In 2020, The Prince Estate and Sony Legacy reissued the collection as part of the Up All Nite With Prince 4CD+DVD box set, alongside individual vinyl editions of each album.
