In spring 2020, The Prince Estate and Legacy Recordings reissued a suite of releases from Prince’s rich 2001–2002 period, culminating in the anthology Up All Nite with Prince: The One Nite Alone Collection. This era — defined by spiritual exploration, jazz‑infused experimentation and a revitalised New Power Generation — is one of Prince’s most musically adventurous.

The collection brings together the studio album One Nite Alone…, Prince’s first official live album One Nite Alone… Live!, the long‑sought One Nite Alone… The Aftershow: It Ain’t Over!, and the out‑of‑print concert film Prince Live at The Aladdin Las Vegas. For the first time, all three audio releases were issued on purple vinyl, while the CD format was consolidated into a 4CD+DVD box set.
