THE STORY
“Gett Off” was initially released as a limited promo-only 12" single on Prince’s 33rd birthday. Only 1,500 copies were pressed, intended solely for DJs. The track was not originally planned for commercial release or inclusion on the Diamonds and Pearls album, but its massive popularity led to it becoming the lead single.
