On March 20, 2002, Prince made a surprise appearance at Jazzmine’s, joining Conversation Piece for a loose, joyful Minneapolis jam. With Larry Graham and Maceo Parker stepping in alongside him, the night became a rare snapshot of Prince reconnecting with his hometown scene — raw, communal, and deeply rooted in the funk lineage he helped shape.
