Prince's "Empty Room" (live version) was released as a members-only download from the NPG Music Club January 4th 2003. The same version was later included on the download album C-Note First recorded (with The Revolution ) in August 1985 and inspired by an argument with Susannah Melvoin Prince re-recorded the song at Paisley Park in March of 1992 but a studio version of this beautifully haunting track has never been released The clip used here is from the Montreux Jazz Festiva
