A Glam Rock Gunshot

T. Rex’s “Zip Gun Boogie” 7-inch vinyl single, was released in the UK on November 1, 1974, on EMI Records (catalogue: MARC 9). Backed with “Space Boss,” The release was actually released under the name of Marc Bolan in the UK and some European countries, this energetic glam rock track, written and produced by Marc Bolan, was the third single taken from the album Bolan's Zip Gun.

1- "Think Zinc" b/w "Liquid Gang" Released: 1974 (Germany only) with the A-side credited to Marc Bolan Bolan and the B-Side to Marc Bolan And T. Rex

2- "Light Of Love" b/w "Venus Loon" both credited to T. Rex

The A-side’s riff-driven bounce and Bolan’s playful vocals marked a return to his early glam roots, but it peaked at No. 41 on the UK Singles Chart for 3 weeks.

Housed in the UK in the Blue and Red EMI T. Rex Wax Co sleeve.
