Slade’s Till Deaf Do Us Part LP, released in the UK on November 13, 1981, on RCA Records (catalogue: RCA LP 6021 / RCALP 6021 / PL 25400), was their tenth studio album. Produced/arranged by Slade for Perseverance Ltd. at Portland Studios, this 12-track hard rock/heavy metal shift—featuring Noddy Holder’s vocals, Dave Hill’s guitar, Jim Lea’s bass/keyboards, Don Powell’s drums—followed We'll Bring the House Down (No. 25 UK, 1981). With George “Porky” Peckham’s lacquer cut and ARUN etchings, it peaked at No. 68 on the UK Albums Chart for 2 weeks. Issued in vinyl, cassette, with reissues on CD (1996, 2007, 2024 mediabook), it’s a bold ‘80s Slade resurgence.
