Bowie's Golden Years In Crystal Clarity
David Bowie: Station To Station Album 50th Anniversary Reissue will be released worldwide on January 23, 2025, David Bowie’s Station To Station 50th anniversary edition revives his 1976 masterpiece in two limited formats: half-speed mastered black 180g LP and picture disc LP (with reproduced 1976 promotional poster). The half-speed master — cut by John Webber on a customised late Neumann VMS80 lathe from 192kHz restored Record Plant masters (no additional processing) — delivers the closest representation of the original sound. The Thin White Duke’s cocaine-fueled transition from soul to krautrock-electronica, now in pristine audiophile glory.
