A 1965–1967 Vault Treasure Trove

Released as a vinyl LP in the UK on December 3, 2019, on Easy Action Records (catalogue: EARS166LP), Marc Bolan’s Pictures Of Purple People was a limited-edition collection of rare 1965–1967 solo recordings — pre-Tyrannosaurus Rex demos, acetates, and early takes. Remastered by Anders Peterson at GS Mastering & Post, with all royalties to the Light of Love Foundation for the Marc Bolan School of Music & Film. A stunning window into Bolan’s folk-psych beginnings.
