Prince: New Power Generation Single (1990)

Prince's "New Power Generation" was released as a single in the US on November 29, 1990. The 7" and cassette singles featured "New Power Generation Part II" as the B-side, while the 12" and CD maxi-singles included multiple tracks with unique names. These tracks, although distinct, were based on the "New Power Generation" song—a method Prince replicated in later works like "Gett Off" and "Cream."

The single attained the 64th position on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart and the 27th on the Billboard Hot R&B Singles Chart.
