Song of the Heart: Best Original Song (2007)

Prince's "Song of the Heart" Wins the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song Motion Picture, January 15, 2007. Reportedly stuck in traffic he isn’t present & the award is accepted on his behalf by Justin Timberlake. The song was written after the makers of the film Happy Feet showed a rough cut of the film to Prince to get approval to use the song Kiss. The studio version of the track has never been included on any Prince album, but it is performed live as part of a medley on the album Indigo Nights released with the 21 Nights photographic book in 2008 The song has some wonderful lyrics and is well worth finding if your not familiar with it.
