A Metallic KO Michigan Palace Relic

Released as a limited, numbered 7-inch clear glitter vinyl single in the UK on November 30, 1988, on Jungle Records (catalogue: JUNG 61), Iggy And The Stooges’ “(I Got) Nothing” b/w “Cock In My Pocket” was taken from the legendary final Stooges show at Michigan Palace, February 9, 1974 — immortalised on the Metallic KO album. Remastered from the original Skydog tapes, this raw, chaotic live assault with Ron Asheton (bass), Scott Asheton (drums), James Williamson (guitar), Scott Thurston (electric piano), and Iggy Pop (vocals) — is pure Stooges anarchy. Distributed by EFA, no chart entry. A cult collector’s holy grail.

Legacy and Collectibility

“(I Got) Nothing” / “Cock In My Pocket” is the final documented Stooges roar — from the infamous bottle-throwing Michigan Palace meltdown. Original 1988 clear glitter numbered 7"s fetch £80–£250+ on eBay/Discogs. Verify catalogue JUNG 61. Streams on Spotify via *Metallic KO* reissues preserve the chaos. This single is a must-have for Stooges/Iggy completists.
