David Essex’s “Lamplight” 7-inch vinyl single, was released in the UK on November 2, 1973, on CBS Records (catalogue: SCBS1902). Backed with “We All Insane,” this haunting glam-pop ballad, written by David Essex, was the second single from his debut album Rock On.
