Alice Cooper’s The Life & Crimes of Alice Cooper, released through Rhino/Warner Bros. Records on April 20, 1999 (catalog number R2 75698), is a 4-CD box set compiling tracks from every studio album by the Alice Cooper Group and Cooper’s solo career up to that point.
Featuring B-sides, unreleased songs, and rarities, it spans from 1965’s Spiders singles to 1994’s The Last Temptation. Accompanied by a detailed booklet with liner notes by Michael Browning, it was praised in a 1999 Rolling Stone review for its comprehensive overview of Cooper’s shock-rock evolution.
