Preceded by some of Bolan’s most beloved singles, “Children of the Revolution,” “Solid Gold Easy Action,” and the classic “20th Century Boy,” 1973’s *Tanx* was the first T. Rex album to fully embrace an ever-expanding array of studio gadgets. While it marked a fresh musical direction, several tracks still kept a clear connection to their earlier sound. The album hit number 4 on the UK Album Charts and has since influenced a wide range of artists, from Suede to Depeche Mode’s Martin Gore. This edition features the complete album, remastered by producer Tony Visconti and Ted Jensen, and pressed on 180g clear vinyl.
