Enters The UK Chart, it was the second and last studio album by singer-songwriter Martika, released in 1991 by Columbia Records. In 2018, the album was re-released as a deluxe two-CD edition titled "Martika's Kitchen (Reheated Edition)," featuring 12 bonus tracks of rare mixes and single edits.

The album marked a shift in musical styles from Martika's debut. "Martika's Kitchen" blends gospel, jazz, funk, R&B, and traditional Cuban music. It includes four tracks written and produced by Prince. These songs (tracks 1–3 and 10) were recorded by Prince and then sent to Martika for overdubbing. Three of these tracks were inspired by a lyrics notebook she provided to him.
