CITY OF BIRMINGHAM EDUCATION COMMITTEE STOCKLAND GREEN SCHOOL
Your youngster has been invited to join a small group of nine members of our Junior Choir who are going to London on Tuesday afternoon next 30th October, during the Half Tern holiday, to take part in a recording session. They are going to provide a children's chorus for a Christmas record by the "pop" group "Wizzard", entitled "I wish it would be Christmas every day".
The group will rehearse at school on Monday afternoon 29th October at 2.0 p.n. with Mr. Powell, our Head of Music. On Tuesday they will meet at school at 10.30 a.m. and will then go to London by coach, (accompanied by Mr. Powell and another colleague. They should bring a packed lunch to eat on the journey. The recording session will begin at 2.30 p.n. The children will be provided with a meal in London and will be back at school not later than 9 p.n. that evening. Nornal school travel insurance will be taken out. Ho cost will fall on you as parents.
I an sorry to give you such short notice, but if you have any query I should be grateful if you would contact us as soon as possible. In any case, if your child cannot join the party, please contact the school by 10 a.m. Monday so that we can arrange a substitute in tine for that afternoon's rehearsal.
