Released by David Bowie and backed with 'The Gospel According To Tony Day', through Decca Records, this 7" was part of Decca's 1982 re-issue series of previous hit releases and all featuring the original 1950's-1960's 'curved' Decca logo design rather than the later 'box' Decca logo. All the pressings have solid centres but appear to be of German manufacture although this isn't mentioned on the record labels but is on some of the Decca sleeves which accompany the records. These Decca sleeves are also the 'orange with white stripes design'. The releases are however all UK releases and appear in the Music Master catalogue 'British Pop Singles 1975-1984'.
