The album Nobody's Fools was released by Slade, this was the British rock band's sixth studio album. It came out in March 1976 and reached number 14 in the UK charts. Chas Chandler produced the album.

Musically, the album marked the band's shift from their "loud" and "rocky" style to a more "American" soul/pop sound. Tasha Thomas was brought in to provide backing vocals, making it the first Slade album to feature female backing. British fans accused the band of abandoning their roots and neglecting their UK fan base, as they spent most of 1975 in the U.S. attempting to break into the market. This album was the first since their rise to fame not to reach the UK Top 10 and exited the chart after just four weeks. It would be their last album to appear on the UK chart until the release of the 1980 compilation Slade Smashes!.
