The Glitter Band released 'The Tears I Cried' backed with 'Until Tomorrow', the single entered the UK Chart on April 12 at number 29 where it spent eight weeks, peaking at the number 8.

'The Tears I Cried' was also released as a flexi disc single by Smiths Crisps, this time backed with 'Just For You'.

Smith's Crisps flex discs came in tri-fold sleeve.
